Weaves: Hand Knotted
There are two primary types of knots used throughout hand-knotted rugs and carpets. These are: the Turkish knot (Ghiordes) and the Persian knot (Sehna). Lesser prominent knots are: Soumak, Tibetan, Spanish and several relatively obscur others.
